57 YEARS AFTER ITS ESTABLISHMENT, THE SERBIAN HISTORICAL MUSEUM HAS BEEN ALLOCATED APPROPRIATE PREMISES

By the act of the Government of the Republic of Serbia of 18 November 2020, the building of the former Main Railway Station on Sava Square was assigned to the Serbian Historical Museum. Fifty-seven years after its establishment, the Museum has been allocated an appropriate space to perform its activities of protecting the cultural heritage and presenting to the public the long-awaited permanent exhibition, thematic exhibitions and other contents based on our knowledge of the past of Serbia and the Serbian people, as well as of other peoples and cultures on the territory of Serbia.
